My name is Jeffrey and I am A Guy With Crohn’s. I have had CD since I was 15, being diagnosed in 1989. I was originally told I had Ulcerative Colitis but once I found a competent doctor, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease.I have been on every type of medicine there is and have had adverse affects from them. I am currently on Humira and personally don’t think it is helping. The only thing I feel that has helped me into remission was going on a Gluten Free diet.

Thanks for doing this. I have had Crohns since I was 12 and I am 57 now. Anything I can help you with just ask. Thanks again.

Just read several of your posts, and you are the first that I truly related to. My treatments were like yours and have also found removing gluten has made a huge difference. But can I ask have you ever looked into your A1C (blood sugar), I have found that was also increasing my symptoms?
Actually I have had some issues with my blood sugar. Of course my weight doesn’t help with that. I have wondered if the Crohn’s was playing a part in the high blood sugar bur until I get to a decent weight (if ever) I won’t know.
